TheatreGemeni is a 2002 action movie in Telugu that was produced by M. Saravanan under the banner of AVM Productions and directed by Saran.Namitha and Venkatesh are the stars. RP Patnaik was the composer of the music. It is a reimagining of the same-year Tamil film Gemini. To set the movie apart from the Tamil original, the title was spelled Gemeni.
Plot
Two modern-day Vijayawada gangsters are Gemeni and Ladda. Ladda’s friend kills Gemeni’s friend. Subsequently, Gemeni and his group hunt down and kill the guy who killed his comrade. Their rivalry began with this incident.
Gemeni meets Manisha Natwarlal in the interim and develops feelings for her. He enrolls at an evening college as her classmate in an attempt to win her affections, and ultimately, she also develops feelings for him.
Once more, Gemeni and Ladda compete for a market holdout. Ladda becomes insane when Gemeni uses cunning strategies to defeat him. Meanwhile, Vijayawada appoints Narendranath Chowdary as its new Police Commissioner. He takes Ladda and Gemeni into custody.
Recognizing their rivalry, Narendranath locks them in a private cell where they can beat each other to death and put an end to their rowdiness at the same time. Nevertheless, Gemeni persuades Ladda to ask Narendranath Chowdary to grant them the opportunity to live a regular life.
When Gemeni’s ruse succeeds, they are both handed an opportunity. Ladda does not alter his life in the same way that Gemeni does. He wants Gemeni to assist him in his business, which is why he constantly bothering her.
Rather, Gemeni tells Narendranath Chowdary about Ladda and his deeds. So Ladda is in jail right now. While all is going on, Gemeni seeks to get back together with Manisha since she has now forgiven him and he has changed.
After a few months, Chowdary is moved to Andhra Pradesh as the transport director general. When Kumaraswamy, the new police commissioner, shows up, Gemeni has the misfortune of learning that he is dishonest and frees Ladda from prison.
Ladda and the newly appointed Commissioner now beg Gemeni to assist him with his business. He still makes an effort to avoid them, though. He killed Gemeni’s right hand, who is also his best buddy, after forcing Gemeni to go back to his previous business. In the final scene, Gemeni deceives Kumaraswamy into killing Ladda.
Subsequently, Viswanath is appointed the new Commissioner of Police, and Kumaraswamy is moved to the position of transport DGP. Gemeni begins living a new life with Manisha as the movie comes to a close.
