Indian filmmaker M. Saravanan is well renowned for helming the 2011 motion picture Engeyum Eppodhum.
Saravanan started out working for director A. R. Murugadoss as an assistant director. He made his directing debut in 2009 with the Ram-starring Telugu film Ganesh. His mentor A. R. Murugadoss produced his first Tamil film, Engeyum Eppodhum (2011), which starred Jai, Anjali, Ananya, and Sharvanand and was produced by Fox Star Studios. Both reviewers and viewers responded well to the movie, which became a sleeper hit. His direction of Engeyum Eppodhum with its “very relevant social message which is the need of the hour” earned him an award from the Human Rights Organization. The Tamil film “Naadu,” which depicts a true story set in the stunning Kolli Hills, was also directed by Saravanan. Under his guidance, Saravanan brings his imaginative vision to life, evoking the spirit of the setting and crafting a compelling story.
