Guna Balasubramanian

Biography:

In the South Indian cinema business, Guna Balasubramanian is renowned not only as a music director but also as a playback vocalist. The Andhra Pradesh town of Aganampudi is home to the Tollywood composer.

The 2021 Telugu film Yennanga Sir Unga Sattam, directed by Prabhu Jeyaram and starring Karthiik RS and Ayraa, has music composed by him, also known as Guna B. He appeared in the film as a playback singer as well.

Additionally, Subramanian composed the music for Ramesh Raparthi’s thriller film Thank You Brother, which was released in Telugu in 2021. The main actors in the film are Anasuya Bharadwaj and Viraj Ashwin.

For her engineering studies, Guna relocated to Chennai in 2008. He did, however, abandon it in order to join Viscom. He used to play in a band with his pals at college parties when he first started singing.

Despite having begun his career as a vocalist, Balasubramanian eventually moved into music direction, writing jingles and short film soundtracks. The director of the movie Yennanga Sir Unga Sattam then got in touch with him.

The composer is particularly well-known for the Malayalam film Varavu, which features Tovino Thomas in the title role, in addition to Thank You Brother. The Tamil online serial Akash Vaani, in which Reba Monica John and Kavin play important roles, is his other endeavor.
