Raghu Karumanchi is a popular Indian actor known for his appearances in Telugu films, primarily in comic and supporting roles. He has acted in over 150 films and has also been featured in various television shows, including the well-known program Jabardasth.
Born and raised in Hyderabad, Raghu Karumanchi’s family hails from Tenali, Andhra Pradesh. His father is a retired army officer, and his mother is a homemaker. Despite having an MBA degree, he initially worked as a software engineer before embarking on his acting career.
Raghu made his debut as an actor in the movie “Aadi,” starring Jr. NTR. However, his breakthrough came with the film “Adhurs.” Besides his film roles, he gained fame as the leader of a team called “Roller Raghu” in the popular TV comedy show Jabardasth, which airs on ETV.
Throughout his career, he has appeared in a staggering 1500 TV episodes across 32 different titles on various channels. Notably, he received recognition and awards from Prasar Bharati and UNICEF for producing a remarkable short film focusing on saving the girl child in 2006.
