Soukhyam

Story:

The 2015 Telugu-language romantic action comedy Soukhyam was directed by A.S. Ravi Kumar Chowdary and produced by V. Anand Prasad under the Bhavya Creations banner. Gopichand and Regina Cassandra play the lead roles in the movie, while Mukesh Rishi, Pradeep Rawat, Devan, and Brahmanandam play supporting parts. Anup Rubens composed the music. The screenplay was written by Sridhar Sepanna and contributed by Kona Venkat and Gopimohan. The film was released on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2015, with Gautham Raju serving as the editor and Prasad Murella as the cinematographer. At the box office, the movie was a complete failure.

Srinivas is a cheerful man with a contented family. While travelling from Hyderabad to Tirupati by train, he befriends Sailaja, a stunning girl, and falls in love with her. By the time Shailu accepts Seenu’s proposal, though, the story’s impediment materialises in the shape of her father PR, a powerful political middleman in Bengal and Kolkata who desires that his daughter wed the Chief Minister’s son. He abducts his daughter as a result. The second problem is that Seenu’s father, Krishna Rao, is a modest man who wishes to avoid confrontations with powerful and violent individuals. As such, he advises his son to leave this mess behind and move on with his life.

However, unbeknownst to him, Seenu makes a promise to the local goon Bavuji to save a girl he wants his son Arjun to marry because Bavuji saved his father from an accident. Shailu turns out to be that girl, shockingly, and now Seenu has to protect Shailu from Bavuji and PR while also making sure she isn’t forced into marriage. Following a few regular altercations with thugs, Seenu wins Shailu as his girlfriend and leads a happy life.
