Plot
In Parsi Gutta, Hyderabad, Laxman, also known as Lachi (Sanjay Rao), is a member of a middle-class family. Maunika is the girl he adores. They both put forth a lot of effort to persuade them to get married in their home.

However, if the young man’s horoscope is bad, Pantu advises that he should first marry a dog or a tree. Following his friend’s suggestion, he marries Baby, the family dog. The owner of the dog, whom Lechi married, brings a lawsuit against her.
