Story:

“Venky Mama,” a 2019 Indian Telugu-language action comedy film directed by K. S. Bobby, features an ensemble cast including Venkatesh, Naga Chaitanya, Raashii Khanna, and Payal Rajput in lead roles. The supporting cast includes Nassar, Prakash Raj, and Rao Ramesh. The film, produced by D. Suresh Babu of Suresh Productions and T. G. Tragically, the prediction unfolds as Karthik loses his parents in an accident. Despite Ramanarayana’s warning, Venkatarathnam (Venky Mama) decides to raise his infant nephew with love and care, deviating from his goal of joining the army.

As the years pass, the story shifts to Kashmir, where Venkatarathnam searches for the now-adult Karthik, who left home without notice. Venkatarathnam faces legal troubles when attempting to locate Karthik within an army-protected area. Undeterred, he narrates their story, revealing Karthik’s disdain for various jobs as he prioritizes staying with his uncle.

Karthik’s efforts to find a suitable match for Venkatarathnam lead to misunderstandings and complications, including the involvement of Karthik’s ex-lover Harika. The narrative takes a twist as Venkatarathnam confronts political figure Pasupathi with a marriage proposal, leading to unexpected consequences. Revelations about Karthik’s horoscope predicting harm to his uncle create tension, with Ramanarayana suggesting their separation.

Despite their resistance, events unfold in a way that makes Karthik realize the potential danger he poses to his uncle. The climax sees Venkatarathnam risking his life to save Karthik from a terrorist hostage situation, defying the ominous horoscope. The film concludes on a positive note, emphasizing the power of love over beliefs, as uncle and nephew unite with their respective love interests. The overarching message suggests that while horoscopes may be mere beliefs, love transcends as a tangible reality.
