Mickey J Meyer

Biography:

While in Hyderabad, he studied at St. Mary’s College, located in Himayatnagar. Mickey J. Meyer, as a child, began studying the violin and piano. His musical expertise extends to the Karnatic tradition. After finishing the fifth grade, he was accepted into London’s illustrious Trinity College of Music.

Mickey J. Meyer was born on November 30, 1982, in Hyderabad, India, where he also grew up.  Similarly, he completed the eight-year music programme and graduated in 2002. The song captivated Mickey J. Meyer, and he blames A for his addiction. R. Rahman is the artist he has listened to the most throughout his life. So after that, Sekhar Kammula signed him for the film Happy Days. His breakthrough came with the 2005 Telugu film Pothe Poni, and further successes with Tenth Class and Note Book cemented his place in the industry. Mickey provided the score for Sekhar Kammula’s 2007 film Happy Days. The film’s soundtrack remained a top seller for a long time after its first release, setting new standards for popular music. The success of Happy Days gave Mickey a solid foundation in the tollywood music industry thanks to the album’s soundtrack. Numerous honours and prizes were bestowed upon the record. Kotha Bangaru Lokam, Mickey’s third film, was similarly a huge success, and he was nominated for another Film Fare award for his efforts. At that point, Mickey’s music had already made its way into remote villages and cities across southern India.

His music was unlike anything else being produced at the time in the film business, which was dominated by upbeat, pulsating tracks. Mickey’s music became a staple at college parties and festivals and he became an instant celebrity on campus. Through the years, Mickey has contributed to a plethora of albums, the most recent of which was 2010’s Leader soundtrack. Leader’s music was well-received and praised by critics. Mickey’s father became ill shortly after Leader was released, and Mickey made the difficult choice to temporarily put his career on hold to care for his father until his death in 2011. In 2012, Mickey landed the role of Mickey in Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, starring Prince Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh and directed by Srikanth Addala. Mickey moved to Hyderabad with his American wife Sharon in 2010.
