Story:

Kotha Bangaru Lokam is a Telugu romantic drama directed by debutant Srikanth Addala and produced by Dil Raju. The film features Varun Sandesh and Shweta Basu Prasad in the lead roles, with Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Brahmanandam, and Rao Ramesh in supporting roles. The music is composed by Mickey J. Meyer, and the cinematography is by Chota K. Naidu.

The story centers around Balu, who falls in love with his classmate Swapna, the daughter of a wealthy business tycoon. Problems arise when Swapna’s parents discover a photo of the couple in a newspaper and prevent her from continuing her education.

Released on 9 October 2008, Kotha Bangaru Lokam won two Nandi Awards and five Filmfare Awards South.
