Story:

Srinivasa Kalyanam, a 2018 Telugu family drama, brought together producer Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations and director Satish Vegesna. Srinivas “Vasu” is a traditionalist who values marriage as not just an event but a profound moment in life. Living away from his family, Vasu’s cousin Padmavathi “Paddu” harbors romantic feelings for him and plans to propose when he visits. Meanwhile, Vasu, an architect in Chandigarh, meets Sridevi “Sri,” who works multiple odd jobs.

Their connection deepens into love. Witnessing a friend’s wedding, Vasu and Sri realize they are meant for each other. Vasu seeks permission from Sri’s father, R. K., a pragmatic man who believes in efficient, time-saving approaches to life.

Despite initial family approval, R. K. introduces a premarital agreement, which Vasu signs. However, Vasu’s influence gradually transforms R. K.’s rigid views on traditional marriage. On the wedding day, unexpected revelations surface.

Paddu confesses her love to Vasu, who clarifies their platonic relationship. The discovery of the agreement complicates matters until R. K. acknowledges Vasu’s impact on his perspective and tears up the papers. Sri forgives Vasu, and the couple joyfully marries.

In the aftermath, the film highlights positive changes in the lives of those connected to Vasu and Sri’s union, emphasizing the transformative power of love and understanding. Kavya reconciles with her husband Siddhu, and the end credits narrate how many lives were positively affected by Vasu and Sri’s wedding.
