Pitta Kathalu

Story:

“Pitta Kathalu” is a 2021 Indian Telugu-language anthology drama film comprising four short film segments. Directed by Nag Ashwin, B. V. Nandini Reddy, Tharun Bhascker, and Sankalp Reddy, the movie boasts an ensemble cast including Amala Paul, Ashwin Kakumanu, Eesha Rebba, Jagapati Babu, Satyadev, Lakshmi Manchu, Ashima Narwal, Saanve Megghana, Sanjith Hegde, and Shruti Haasan. Produced by RSVP Movies and Flying Unicorn Entertainment, the film made its debut on Netflix on February 19, 2021, marking Netflix’s inaugural Telugu original film.

Plot

1. Ramula: “Ramula” tells the story of a humble village girl from Telangana named Ramula (played by Saanve Megghana) and her ambitious but unsuccessful boyfriend (portrayed by Abhay Bethiganti). The central theme revolves around how a local politician named Swaroop Akka (played by Lakshmi Manchu) exploits the couple for her political agenda.
2. Meera: This tale revolves around Meera (Amala Paul), a young wife who faces challenges due to her unpredictable and erratic husband, Vishwa Mohan (Jagapathi Babu), who is 18 years her senior.
3. xLife: xLife narrates the tale of Vik (portrayed by Sanjith Hegde), a young individual who seizes control of the globe through his cutting-edge technology known as X-Life, boasting billions of users.
4. Pinky: “Pinky” follows the story of Vivek (Satyadev), a struggling writer who is married but engages in a clandestine affair with his former flame, Pinky (Eesha Rebba).
