Plot
Raghavayya and Ram Mohan Rao, connected through marriage, find themselves in a longstanding feud due to family issues. Approaching his 60s, Raghavayya decides to host his Shastipoorti ceremony, relenting to his wife’s persistent requests to invite his daughter-in-law and grandchildren from Bombay for the first time. Among them is Raghu, an estranged and attractive grandson, who faces embarrassment from Raghavayya’s family upon arrival in Ramapuram.
In the course of events, Raghu encounters Manga, a childlike beauty, and despite playing pranks on each other, they gradually fall deeply in love. However, their love remains unspoken. Through his unwavering love for the family, Raghu earns their trust and affection.
As the story unfolds, Raghu uncovers the root cause of the feud between Raghavayya and Ram Mohan Rao’s families. It stems from the past when Raghu’s father, Bhaskar Rao, was supposed to marry Rajani, Ram Mohan Rao’s daughter. However, Bhaskar chooses his college love, Kousalya, over Rajani, leading to Rajani’s tragic suicide. Blaming Raghavayya for the incident, Ram Mohan Rao harbors resentment, and Erra Babu, his fiery son, shares the animosity.
Through strategic manipulation over a few days, Raghu successfully reconciles the two estranged families. They decide to strengthen family bonds by arranging Manga’s marriage to Ram Mohan Rao’s grandson. Despite his love for Manga, Raghu selflessly sacrifices it to ensure everyone’s happiness. As wedding preparations are underway, Manga goes missing. The revelation of Raghu and Manga’s love story prompts Erra Babu to realize his mistake, and he agrees to their love, ultimately uniting the two lovers.
