Biography:

Gopimohan, born as Pinnamaneni Gopi Mohan, is a prominent Indian screenplay and story writer renowned for his contributions to the Telugu film industry. Hailing from Kurumaddali village near Vuyyuru in the Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh, his affinity for movies blossomed during his childhood.

His journey in the film world began with roles in the direction department, assisting on projects like N.Shankar’s “Yamajathakudu” (1999) and B. Gopal’s “Vamsi” (2000). Notably, he played a significant part in the script and direction of Teja’s blockbuster “Nuvvu Nenu” (2001).

A pivotal moment arrived when he penned the screenplay for the Telugu hit “Santosham” (2002). Gopimohan’s collaborations with directors like Dasaradh, Sreenu Vytla, Surender Reddy, Teja, and G.Nageswara Reddy have spanned a decade, yielding fruitful outcomes. His repertoire includes screenplays for films such as “Santosham,” “Venky,” “Mr & Mrs Sailajakrishnamurthy,” “Sri,” “Ashok,” “Dhee,” “Dubai Seenu,” “Lakshyam,” “Swagatam,” “Jhummandi Naadam,” “Dhenikaina Ready,” “Greeku Veerudu,” “Doosukeltha,” and “Loukyam.”

In a notable milestone, Gopimohan made his mark as a story writer with the 2008 blockbuster “Ready.” His association with director Sreenu Vytla resulted in engaging stories for films such as “Ready,” “King,” “Namo Venkatesa,” “Dookudu,” and “Baadshah.” Collaborating closely with Kona Venkat, the dynamic duo co-wrote scripts for multiple super hit films.
