M. Rathnam is an Indian screenwriter who mostly works in the Tamil cinema industry. His first film, Bobbili Simham, came out in 1994. He then starred in Samarasimha Reddy in 1999 and Simhadri in 2003. Additionally, he has written dialogue for movies including Magadheera (2009), Raju Bhai (2007), Vikramarkudu (2006), and Sye (2004). He wrote the scripts for the movies Dictator (2016) and Legend (2014). Jai Simha (2018), Vinaya Vidheya Rama (2019), and Akhanda (2021) are some of his more ventures.
