Nawab Shah

Biography:

Nawab Shah is an Indian actor who performs in movies and TV shows in the languages of Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. He performed character roles in television serials before moving into the film industry.

In the Doordarshan serial “Akbar The Great” from 1993, Nawab Shah made his acting debut as Babar. Later, he appeared in well-known serials like “Indian” on SAB TV in 1999 and “Shaktimaan” on DD National in 1997.

Shah collaborated in Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya with filmmaker Rajeev Kumar in 2000. Arvind Swamy and Manisha Koirala played the key roles in the movie. Shah’s performance received no attention.

Be-Lagaam, his subsequent picture, had a poor box office performance. Shah first had a chance to “prove his talent” in Ujjal Chattopadhyay’s Escape from Taliban. Shah’s performance was appreciated, although Manisha Koirala’s role in the plot received greater attention. It did poorly at the box office.

Woh, Dukaan, and Parwana all suffered the same fate. Shah had to wait a while to be acknowledged. He received some accolades for his performances in Farhan Akhtar’s Lakshya and Saurabh Shukla’s Chehraa, but he was not given important parts.

Nawab Shah was hired in 2011 to play the bad guy in Salman Khan’s Bodyguard. But due to his accident, he was unable to finish the movie. Later that year, in the film Don 2, which starred Shah Rukh Khan in the lead, he took on the part of Jabbar, a villain. His acting received accolades, and the movie enjoyed significant box office success. Shah later made an appearance as a Pakistani athletics coach in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Recently, he appeared in the movie Dilwale as Raghav, one of Dev Malik’s goons.
