Story:

Ronan Bennett is the author and creator of the British criminal drama television series MobLand. Tom Hardy plays Harry Da Souza, a fixer for the Harrigan crime family, which is headed by Maeve Harrigan (Helen Mirren) and Conrad (Pierce Brosnan), in the television series. In addition, Paddy Considine plays Harry’s longtime coworker, Kevin Harrigan, the son of Conrad and Maeve. The first season is directed by Lawrence Gough, Daniel Syrkin, Anthony Byrne, and Guy Ritchie. Bennett and Jez Butterworth co-wrote the first eight episodes.

A conflict between the Stevensons and the Harrigans, a London criminal family, has the potential to destroy syndicates and their lives. The Harrigan family hires Harry Da Souza, a streetwise and strong fixer, to manage and lessen the growing tension that threatens their empire. Harry is entrusted with safeguarding the Harrigans’ interests and averting a full-scale gang war as tensions between the families rise.
