British actor Mandeep Dhillon was born on December 21, 1990. She has acted in theater, television, film, and radio productions, including the comedy series Some Girls and Fried on BBC Three. She acted as Constable Lizbyet Corwi in The City and the City in 2018 and in the British romance comedy Finding Fatimah in 2017. She previously collaborated with Ricky Gervais in David Brent: Life on the Road, and she also plays Sandy in the Netflix Original dark comedy After Life. She has been a star in the American crime television series CSI: Vegas since 2021.
In addition to performing in plays at the Bush Theatre, Dhillon made her television debut in the 2011 television film Some Dogs Bite. She later starred in The Mimic and The Thick of It. She played the key part of Saz Kaur in Some Girls in 2012 and played Amara in Fried in 2015.
Dhillon stated in a 2019 interview that she made sure to take part in every school play to get experience because she couldn’t afford acting classes. She added that she left college shortly after beginning her A-levels and enrolled in a London performing arts school. In a 2015 interview, Dhillon stated that she began contacting agencies via email using contact information she discovered on the Spotlight website after deciding to pursue a career in acting just before turning 19. After being granted a spot in a workshop by one of the agencies, she was given the opportunity to try out for Some Dogs Bite (2010), [6], which was her first TV appearance.
