Before starring in Anaganaga Oka Chitram, a Telugu film, Meghasri made her film debut in 2015 with the Telugu film Panchamukhi. With Ka Ka Ka: Aabathin Arikuri (2017), she made her acting debut in Tamil.She debuted in Kannada that year in the movie March 22 and had a supporting role in Oxygen.Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava (2018), the biggest hit for Jr. NTR, featured Meghasri in a significant role. After that, she starred in a number of Kannada films, such as Dasharatha (2019), Kaddu Mucchi (2019), and Krishna Tulasi (2018).The Deccan Chronicle noted that “it is Meghashree who makes a mark with this one” in their review of Krishna Tulasi.
Afterwards, she portrayed the main characters in the Kannada TV series Ivalu Sujatha and Naga Kannike.In 2019, she made an appearance on Bigg Boss Kannada season 6 as a wildcard entry. Meghasri portrayed the lead in the supernatural television series Jothi in 2021; this was a follow-up to Nandini.Following her 2022 Bhojpuri debut, she starred as the lead actress opposite Khesari Lal Yadav in the blockbuster film Farishta, which broke numerous records in the previous ten years.
