Born on July 23, 1961, Milind Gunaji is an Indian actor, model, writer, author, and television presenter who is best known for his roles in Hindi and Marathi films.Since making his feature debut in 1993’s Papeeha, he has acted in more than 250 films and hosted the travel programme Bhatkanti on the Zed Marathi channel. Gunaji has represented forests and wildlife on behalf of the Maharashtra government. He currently represents Hill Station Mahabaleshwar as a brand ambassador.
He was chosen as the 2009 brand ambassador for the NIBR College of Hotel Management, part of the Novel Institute Group.Everest, which Milind completed, aired on Star Plus in November 2014. Additionally, he had a brief stint in South Indian cinema, appearing in two films with significant roles: Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum (Telugu) and Aalavandhan (Tamil).
As a photographer, Gunaji has participated in numerous solo photo exhibitions, including ones at Vile Parle’s Prabodhankar Thackeray Hall, Balgandharva Pune, and Kalidas Hall in Nashik.
He has worked as a travel writer, an ambassador for Intiamatkat Tours, and a weekly columnist for the Marathi daily Loksatta’s Lokprabha supplement. Gunaji is a writer who has written twelve books. His first book, Majhi Mulukhgiri, a collection of his Lokprabha columns, was released in 1998. Modelling, according to Gunaji, “satisfies my ego and gives good monetary returns.”
