Kandireega

Story:

“Kandireega” is a 2011 Indian Telugu-language romantic comedy and action film directed by Santosh Srinivas and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh through Sri Sai Ganesh Productions. The movie features Ram Pothineni, Hansika Motwani, Sonu Sood, and Aksha Pardasany, with the music composed by S. Thaman. The film was released on August 12, 2011, and it achieved considerable commercial success, raking in ₹22 crore at the box office. It proved to be one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of that year.

Subsequently, it was remade in Hindi as “Main Tera Hero” in 2014. Four years later, it was also dubbed in Hindi as “Dangerous Khiladi 4.”

Sreenu, a high school dropout from Anakapalle, seeks to marry his cousin Bujji but is rejected due to his lack of college education. To prove himself, he heads to Hyderabad for further studies. On the way, he defends college girls from rowdies.

At the Hyderabad college, he falls for Shruthi, who is harassed by the city gangster Bhavani. Sreenu intervenes, challenging Bhavani to make Shruthi love him.

After saving her from kidnappers, it’s revealed that Rajanna kidnapped Shruthi because his daughter Sandhya loves Sreenu. Bhavani and police officer Avataram enter the mix. Sreenu navigates this complex situation to rescue Shruthi and untangle the web of relationships.
