Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao is much sought after by Indian film directors. He was born in Nuzvidu, in the Andhra Pradesh state’s Krishna district. Film editor Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao works in the Telugu film industry. He is a prolific film producer in addition to being an editor. He began his professional life in 1977. In Andhra Pradesh, he resided in Hyderabad. And he and his younger brother Kotagiri Gopal Rao held the position of president of the Andhra Pradesh cinema federation. He had about six years of experience in that position. His two daughters, Padmaja and Neeraja, are the result of his marriage to Sujatha.
Sadly, Kotagiri Gopal Rao, his brother, passed away on November 6, 2012. After their father passed away, his older brother looked after the family. Venkateshwara Rao had little interest in academics at the time. After finishing the matriculation, he did not proceed with his graduation. He then intended to train as a film editor. Kotagiri Films, which was founded by Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao and produced a large number of blockbuster movies, is the leading motion picture industry. He has edited more than fifty different movies. He was able to become an editor with K. Raghavendra Rao’s assistance. In 1977, he made his acting debut in Adavi Remuda.
K. Raghavendra Rao was the director of this. Even though his brother introduced him to movies, he worked really hard and used his skills to become the most successful editor. The Nandi award, the highest honor bestowed by the Andhra Pradesh government on performers and the film industry, was given to him as a mark of respect by the state of Andhra Pradesh. Five times, he was the winner. He received many honors, including the Subhash Chandra Bose, Darling, Magadheera, and Vijay awards for Sye and Naan Ee, respectively. In the movie business, he went under the name Chandi Guru. He put a lot of effort into Magadheera and received that honor in 2009.
Despite appearing in more than fifty films, Megathere brought him to national attention in India. He collaborated with a number of well-known filmmakers, including Y.S. Chowdary and S.S. Rajmouli. In numerous movies, he collaborated with S.S. Rajmouli, who was regarded as one of the greatest filmmakers in Indian cinema. He edited recent blockbuster films starring top actors like Young Tiger Junior NTR, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, etc. He has collaborated with Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kajal Aggarwal, and other actors.
He edited the opening scene of the film Baahubali. The worldwide box office for that film exceeds 500 crores. Additionally, he worked on Baahubali; he will be in charge of editing the conclusion. He edited the love film Premam, which startled young people all throughout India. He became a renowned editor in Keralan cinema thanks to this film. He is the most sought-after editor in Indian cinema as a result of the films Baahubali and Premam.
