TheatreBoss Engira Bhaskaran, also known as Boss alias Bhaskaran, is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy directed and written by M. Rajesh, known for his work on Siva Manasula Sakthi (2009).

The storyline follows Bhaskaran, a carefree young man in Kumbakonam, yet to complete his B.A. degree and writing arrear exams for years.

The success of Boss Engira Bhaskaran led to its remakes in Kannada as Parijatha (2011) and in Bengali as Raja Rani Raji (2018). Bhaskaran, facing challenges due to unemployment, strives to prove himself to marry Chandrika, Nandhini’s younger sister.
Despite obstacles, he establishes a tutorial with Nallathambi’s support, leading to unexpected success. The narrative unfolds with Bhaskaran’s efforts, family dynamics, and the eventual resolution of misunderstandings, culminating in a happy ending with Bhaskaran and Chandrika’s union.
