Biography:

Born on May 28, 1981, Vivek Harshan is a prominent Indian film editor specializing in Malayalam and Tamil cinema. His close collaboration with director Amal Neerad has been a hallmark of his career.

Notable films in his repertoire include “Big B,” “Iyobinte Pusthakam,” “Varathan,” and “Bheeshma Parvam.” Harshan’s exceptional editing skills were recognized with the prestigious National Film Award for Best Editing in 2014.

Commencing his career under the guidance of editor Antony, Harshan transitioned to an independent editor with the Malayalam film “Red Salute” in 2006. However, it was his second film, “Big B” (2007), that proved to be his breakthrough, marking a pivotal point in his career.

One of his standout achievements came with the 2014 Tamil film “Jigarthanda,” earning him the National Award for Best Editing that year.
