Plot
Elango (Samuthirakani) marries Jessy (Ramya Pandian) after falling in love. Both of them are unmarried, and Elango works as a medical sales representative. After landing a career in software, Jessy’s life is perfect. Their twins, Agaran (Kavin) and Aathira (Monica), are a gift. Jessy is more focused on her career and wants to go farther in it.
Elango, on the other hand, believes that spending quality time with their children is a challenge and that family is their top priority. Elango chooses to resign from his job in order to take care of their children and domestic duties because Jessy makes more money than he does. Jessy opposes this choice because she believes that if both of them could earn, she would live a lavish lifestyle.
Jessy is taken aback by her coworker Belita (Suja Varunee), who drives a BMW and lives a luxurious lifestyle. Contrary to Elango’s recommendations, Jessy makes reservations for a newly constructed flat. Despite Elango’s warnings regarding the issues related to higher bank loans and EMI, she too purchases a BMW vehicle. Jessy’s employer, Roy (Abhishek Vinod), is watching her.
Elango and Jessy had frequent arguments that end with Elango leaving the house because Jessy continues to make fun of him for being a stay-at-home dad. Agaran stays with Jessy, and Aathira goes out with Elango as well. Elango receives refuge from Bullet Thatha (Radha Ravi), a good-hearted man who occasionally encounters Agaran. Elango manages to land a job as a server in a restaurant as well. The owner of the restaurant promotes Elango to chef after observing his culinary prowess.
Jessy is shocked to learn that Belita killed herself because she felt embarrassed by some thugs the bank hired to chase her overdue debts. Jessy is aware of the drawbacks of having too many bank loans. Roy wants to get close to Jessy physically, but she refuses to cooperate, so he fires her. Since she lost her job and is now unable to pay her EMIs, Jessy is inconsolable. When Jessy fails to make her EMI payments, debt collectors show up at her house.
Elango enters, aware of this, and asks the thugs to grant him some time so they can pay back the debts. Elango uses his restaurant owner’s assistance to address some financial matters. Jessy comprehends Elango after realizing the error that caused her to change. After they reconcile, Elango resumes his employment and begins living a modest yet contented life. They pay off the bank debt, sell their opulent apartment, and move back into their former residence to resume renting.
