S. D. Vijay Milton is a prominent figure in the Indian film industry, known for his versatile roles as a cinematographer and director, primarily working in the Tamil cinema. His directorial ventures have earned critical acclaim, and his cinematography has been widely appreciated.

Vijay Milton’s directorial journey took off with the romantic comedy film “Azhagai Irukkirai Bayamai Irukkirathu” in 2006, featuring Bharath and Mallika Kapoor in leading roles. However, it was his work as a cinematographer that initially gained recognition, with notable contributions to films like “Kaadhal” in 2004.

His career as a director reached new heights with films like “Vazhakku Enn 18/9” in 2012, “Goli Soda” in 2014, and “Kadugu” in 2017, all of which garnered critical acclaim and showcased his storytelling prowess.

Notably, “Goli Soda” marked a significant success for Vijay Milton, leading to his subsequent directorial project, “10 Enradhukulla,” a road movie featuring Vikram and Samantha. In 2017, he directed “Kadugu,” which received positive reviews from critics and was released by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment.

Following this, Vijay Milton directed “Goli Soda 2” (known as GST), continuing to demonstrate his directorial prowess and establishing his own production company, Rough Note Production.

In 2020, Vijay Milton embarked on his maiden directorial venture in the Kannada film industry (Sandalwood) with Kannada Superstar Shiva Rajkumar. While most of the scenes were shot, production faced delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Currently, Vijay Milton is set to direct a Tamil film starring Vijay Antony, further expanding his diverse and accomplished career in the world of Indian cinema.
