Sai Pallavi is an Indian actress who primarily works in the Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil film industries. She was born on May 9, 1992, in Kotagiri, Tamil Nadu, India. She was born into a Hindu Family to Senthamara Kannan and Radha Kannan. Her father is a central excise officer and her mother is a homemaker. She also has a younger sister, Puja Kannan, who is an actress.
Sai Pallavi gained prominence through her role as Malar in the Malayalam film “Premam” (2015), directed by Alphonse Puthren. Her performance as a college lecturer earned her critical acclaim and widespread recognition. The film became a massive success and Sai Pallavi’s portrayal of Malar received several awards, including the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South.
After her breakthrough in “Premam,” Sai Pallavi ventured into the Telugu film industry with the film “Fidaa” (2017), directed by Sekhar Kammula. Her portrayal of Bhanumathi won her immense praise for her natural and energetic performance. The film was a huge commercial success and Sai Pallavi’s performance was highly appreciated.
