Ranbir Kapoor Apologises For Wrong Word At Dussehra Event
Ranbir Kapoor has apologised for his verbal slip during a Dussehra event in Kolkata. At the October 20th celebrations, the actor spoke about the festival’s message of good winning over evil.
However, he accidentally used the word “anth” (end) instead of “jeet” (victory), changing the meaning of his statement.
The video went viral, with many social media users commenting on his mistake.
At the grand musical event and full-album launch of Ramayana in Chennai, Ranbir clarified his words and apologised.
He called it a slip of the tongue and said he meant that truth and goodness always win over evil. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana stars Ranbir as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana.
“Burai chahe kitni bhi taaqatvar kyon na ho, aakhir me ant sacchai aur acchai ka hi hogi”
On Dussehra, Ranbir Kapoor ended up putting an end to sacchai and acchai himself. Bro is playing Lord Ram in the Ramayana! https://t.co/w0DIeVX5Ih
