Ramayana First Review: Big Budget, Mixed Results

The much-awaited Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash and Rakul Preet Singh, is set to release worldwide on November 5th.

An overseas reviewer who watched the English dubbed 3D version has shared mixed impressions, claiming it is 30 minutes shorter than the Hindi version.

The reviewer praised the film’s grand visuals and production quality but felt it focused more on graphics and action than emotions.

He also criticised the lengthy second half, artificial looking scenes and music. Yash emerged as the biggest highlight, especially with his introduction as Ravana.

While praising the team’s efforts, the reviewer said Ramayana is better than Adipurush but may not meet expectations.
