K. V. Guhan is an accomplished Indian cinematographer hailing from Chennai, India. He is recognized for his remarkable work in the Tamil and Telugu film industries. Guhan is the younger brother of Saran, a prominent Tamil film director. He has collaborated with director Radha Mohan on two notable Tamil films, namely “Mozhi” (2007) and “Payanam” (2011). Guhan’s cinematography in films like “Athadu” (2005), “Jalsa” (2008), “Dookudu” (2011), “Baadshah” (2013), and “Aagadu” (2014) received high praise.
In addition to his cinematography expertise, Guhan ventured into directing with the 2010 film “Inidhu Inidhu,” a remake of the popular movie “Happy Days” (2007). Produced by Prakash Raj under Duet Movies, the film marked Guhan’s directorial debut. He has further directed Telugu films such as “118” (2019), “WWW” (2021), and “Highway” (2022).
Before establishing himself as a cinematographer and director, Guhan gained valuable experience working as an assistant under renowned cinematographer P. C. Sreeram.
