Mahima Chaudhry is an Indian actress who gained prominence in the Bollywood film industry during the late 1990s and early 2000s. She was born on September 13, 1973, in Darjeeling, West Bengal, India. Mahima made her acting debut with the film “Pardes” in 1997, directed by Subhash Ghai. Her performance in the film earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

One of her most iconic roles was in the movie “Dil Kya Kare” (1999), where she played a single mother. However, her breakthrough role came with the film “Dhadkan” (2000), where she starred alongside Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty.

Despite initial success, Mahima Chaudhry’s career faced ups and downs, and she appeared in several films that received mixed reviews. Over the years, her presence in the film industry has reduced, and she hasn’t been as active in recent times. Her last notable film appearance was in the 2016 film “Dark Chocolate.”
