Muktar Alias Mukhtar Khan is Hyderabad based actor introduced to film industry with his debut film “Rowdy Alludu” over two decades ago. His career took off with couple of movies to 100 films till date. He is popularly known to Telugu people for the character “Sikander Bhai” in most renowned south Indian evening opera “Mogali Rekulu” meaning Jasmine petals. He has been acting in Indian movies from Bollywood to Tollywood totaling more than 100 movies which of them include acting with big shots in industry like Chiranjeevi, Salman Khan, Venkatesh and many more.
He also owns a chain of Irani cafes in Hyderabad. These days he is being seen in the roles of baddie, which he seems to enjoy doing. Likewise movies Mukhtar khan also been acting in negative roles. He was famed for his role as terrorist in the most renowned movie “Viswaroopam” starred by Kamal Hassan. He expresses the pleasure working with such exquisite movie which was shot in multi languages such as Hindi, Telugu and Tamil to give him a big scope of reception. Been one of the lucky people to be selected in the auditions of the most award winning big budget movie. He claims to have been more famous by acting in TV serial than any movie.
