Kavitha Dasaratharaj, professionally recognized as Kavitha, is an Indian actress and politician renowned for her work primarily in the Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada film industries, with a few appearances in Malayalam films as well. Notably, she has garnered recognition for her supporting roles in Telugu-language films such as “Aada Paandavulu” (2013), “Chethilo Cheyyesi” (2010), “Meenakshi” (2005), and “Yugalageetham” (2010). Originally hailing from Andhra Pradesh, Telugu is her mother tongue. Tragically, in 2021, she suffered the loss of her husband and son due to COVID-19.
Kavitha’s familial roots trace back to Nidamarru village, situated near Tadepalligudem city in the West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.
