Indian actress Easwari Rao has appeared in films in the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. From 1990 to 1999, she portrayed the leading ladies. Beginning in 2000, she began to perform supporting and starring parts. Eswari Rao was born to a Telugu family on June 13, 1973 in Tanuku, West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. In 2005, she wed the director L. Raja. One son and one girl are the couple’s two children.
Intinta Deepavali, Eswari Rao’s first Telugu film, was released in 1990. She rose to fame in Telugu with the Rajendra Prasad-starrer Rambantu. In Kavithai Paadum Alaigal (1990), she made her Tamil film debut under the name Janani. The movie didn’t do well at the box office even if the songs were much-liked. She received her first significant break in Balu Mahendra’s 1997 film Raman Abdullah, in which she starred as Easwari Rao. Notably, she turned down the position in the Koottaali project because she thought it was too fashionable. She later made an appearance in Guru Paarvai (1998) by Manoj Kumar. Eeshwari also appeared in Siragugal Murivadhilai by Bharathiraja, but the movie was abandoned after pre-production. She played Prasanth’s sister in the 2000 Tamil movie Appu. She received praise for her performance as Selvi in kaala (2018).
