Born into a Telugu-speaking family in Amalapuram, Andhra Pradesh, Vidya Sagar’s early exposure to music and training in classical guitar and piano laid the foundation for his illustrious career. His journey as an independent film composer took off with the Tamil film “Poomanam,” marking the beginning of his musical odyssey. While he initially gained recognition in the Tamil film industry, he eventually ventured into Telugu and Malayalam cinema.
