Plot
Saravanan, his oldest son, has replaced his father, Subhash, a colonel in the Indian Army, who was the chief minister of Tamil Nadu till his retirement. For a quick trip, Subhash contacts his lover, Meera, and his entire family. Saravanan learns during a campaign for Prime Ministerial candidate Guptaji that his friend Deepak has absconded after obtaining a loan of ₹40 crore (US$5.0 million). When Saravanan phones Deepak, he is told to leave the ceremony.
However, during the campaign, Subhash makes an effort to communicate with Meera and gives her a message. When Meera realizes she forgot her phone in the car, she heads to the parking lot, where it gets switched for a murderer’s phone. Upon noticing the car number of the murderous pair, Meera attempts to flee, but is fatally beaten and trampled by a woman posing as a police officer. After getting the phone back, the woman calls the cell bomb that is kept in a cooler on stage. When the device detonates, Guptaji is killed and Saravanan and his family are knocked down.
Finding Meera’s body breaks Subhash, and with Deepak’s help, Saravanan is set up for the killing. During violent riots, Saravanan asks for a press conference at his house after recording a discussion with Deepak. However, when he is discovered hanging in his chamber, the media assumes he was involved.
Meera writes down the car number on her palm, which Subhash uses to learn more about the murderous woman. Subhash manages to track her down and discovers that she is Kiara, an assassin from London, by examining the tattoo on her neck in the CCTV footage from the car dealership and the screen of her phone.
Helped by a hacker named Jack, Subhash is able to track down Kaira, repel her goons, and execute her by hanging, much like she did Saravanan. Lt. Diya, a buddy, and brother-in-law Maya Kannan accompany Subhash when he lands in Istanbul later on. They intend to take the money by targeting Deepak’s account. Everything proceeds according to plan, and Subhash takes the money out of Deepak’s account. But after tracking Deepak’s whereabouts, the three discovers him dead in Algornia. A dramatic chase then unfolds, ending with his escape.
Subhash discovers that someone has killed Deepak and is framing him while pretending to be a blind man. They discover that the individual is the Turkish Police Service’s police commissioner. Subhash uses Diya as a lure to trick the commissioner and his goons into fighting him off. After threatening to kill the commissioner, he discloses that the true explosives conspirator is Syed Ibrahim Malik, a terrorist from Pakistan.
Subhash makes the independent decision to take Malik to India with Diya’s assistance, with the help of his Lieutenant General Rehman. After entering Lahore illegally, Imran Khaleel, a covert operative, informs him of Malik’s whereabouts and the presence of military troops.
After learning about Malik’s daughter’s wedding, Diya breaks into the house under false pretenses, dropping combustible balls inadvertently, causing a fire that breaks out at first light. Gen. Tahir Iqbal of the Pakistan Army gives Malik instructions to go to a safe house with his officers. Seizing the chance, Subhash pursues the car and successfully kidnaps Malik.
Subhash escapes after a motor chase, leaving Malik behind in the car as Diya and Imran wait for him at the airport. When Tahir admits Malik to the hospital, he discovers that Malik’s body double is there. Malik gave the order for his body double to go with Tahir’s soldiers since Subhash was holding Malik at gunpoint. After they fight hand-to-hand, Subash takes him into custody. When the airport authorities recognize Subhash, Subhash and his group disguise themselves and board the aircraft before Tahir gives the order to stop it.
Tahir realizes that Subhash and his team got departed in an aircraft to Nepal when the flight to India is stopped and he rushes inside. After landing in Nepal, Subhash gives Malik over to the Indian military. It is revealed that Subhash killed Malik during a staged escape during the posthumous honouring of Saravanan, and other conspirators, including Saravanan’s superior and former PM candidate Varma, are caught.
