Biography:

Akanksha Puri is a versatile Indian actress and model who has made her mark in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada films, as well as television shows. She gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Goddess Parvati in the popular series “Vighnaharta Ganesh.” In 2023, she took on a new challenge by participating in the reality TV show Bigg Boss OTT Hindi – Season 2, where she joined 12 other contestants.

Puri’s journey into the entertainment industry began with a background in modeling during her time as an international cabin crew member. She was discovered by Studio Green, which led to her first film debut in the 2013 Tamil action comedy “Alex Pandian.” She later ventured into Hindi cinema with her role in Madhur Bhandarkar’s 2015 drama film “Calendar Girls.” Her versatility as an actress is evident as she successfully transitioned between different film industries.
