Vishal Krishna Reddy, better known by his stage name Vishal, is a Tamil-language actor and producer from India who was born on August 29, 1977. Vishal, who was born to movie producer G. K. Reddy, is well-known for his appearances in action movies. He also produces movies through Vishal Film Factory, his production firm. In 2006, Vishal received the Kalaimamani award in recognition of his contributions to Tamil film.
Vishal began his career in the movie business as Arjun’s assistant director. Following his transition to acting, he appeared in the action movies Sandakozhi, Thimiru, Thaamirabharani, and Malaikottai before landing his first major lead part in the romance thriller Chellamae (2004).
Vishal chose to create his own production studio and has since produced and worked on Pandiya Naadu (2013), Naan Sigappu Manithan (2014) and Poojai (2014).

Vishal attended the Don Bosco Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Chennai for his education. After that, he received his degree in visual communications from Loyola College in Chennai.
