Biography:

Rajashree is a versatile Indian actress renowned for her contributions to Tamil cinema, Telugu cinema, Malayalam cinema, and television. She made her remarkable entry into the world of cinema in the 1994 Tamil film “Karuththamma,” directed by Bharathiraja, where she played the leading role. Her debut performance received critical acclaim, setting the stage for a prolific career spanning over sixty films in which she portrayed a diverse range of characters.

Rajashree’s journey in Tamil cinema began with “Karuththamma,” and she went on to impress audiences with her acting prowess in movies like “Sethu,” “Nandha,” “Run,” “Manasellam,” and “Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu.”

Her talent has graced around 57 films in both the Tamil and Telugu film industries. Beyond the silver screen, she also garnered praise for her roles in television series such as “Aalayam,” “Agal Vilakku,” “Mandhira Vasal,” and “Sivamayam.”

It’s worth noting that Rajashree’s sister, Bobby, also pursued a career as an actress in the film industry. In 2010, Rajashree tied the knot with computer engineer Bujankar Rao in a private ceremony held at the Kanaka Durga temple in Vijayawada. The wedding was an intimate affair attended only by close family and friends of the couple.
