Ashwanth Ashokkumar is an Indian child actor he performs in Tamil-language movies. He played and won the title of Zee Tamil’s Junior Super Star in 2016. His portrayal of Rasukutty in Super Deluxe (2019) has made him well-known. He and Lisha took part in the Zee Tamil program Junior Super Star in 2016, which evaluates children’s acting skills.
He was crowned the show’s season winner. Later, Lisha and Ashwanth starred in Mella Thirandhathu Kadhavu, a television series on Zee Tamil. Prior to making his breakthrough in Super Deluxe that same year, he starred in Airaa (2019). He portrayed Rasukutty in Super Deluxe, a young boy who, despite declaring himself to be a woman, Shilpa, continues to take care of his father, Manickam (Vijay Sethupathi).
After watching his performance on Junior Super Star, he was cast in the role. Despite being offered a part in Mersal (2017), Ashwanth declined the offer. Prior to assuming a prominent role in God Father (2020), he appeared in a number of supporting roles, such as Thambi (2019). He was the director of the children’s stop-motion web series Ondipulli in 2020.
In addition to writing the series, he has provided a voiceover for the episodes. Jagame Thandhiram and an untitled film starring Balaji Sakthivel are among his upcoming projects.
