TheatreThikka, which translates to “Frenzy,” is a 2016 action comedy film directed by Sunil Reddy and produced in Telugu under the Sri Venkateswara Movie Makers banner by Dr. Rohin Reddy. S. Thaman is the composer of the music, which stars Sai Dharam Tej, Larissa Bonesi, and Mannara Chopra with Rajendra Prasad, Ajay, Ali, Raghu Babu, and Vennela Kishore in supporting roles. On July 31, 2015, production got underway in Hyderabad. The movie came out on August 13, 2016. Critics gave the movie a bad grade, but they also complimented Tej’s performance. They did, however, take issue with the screenplay’s incoherence, illogical and confusing narrative, direction, and storyline. The movie was a commercial failure. At the 15th Santosham Film Awards, Mannara Chopra took home the Special Jury Award for Best Actress.
The movie is a bewildering drama about a kidnapping; Aditya (Sai Dharam Tej) is a drunken youth who relishes his everyday life until he accidentally meets the stunning Anjali. He not only makes her fall in love with him, but he also falls in love with her at first sight. She separates Aditya from his father Manohar (Rajendra Prasad), who is a big drinker and womaniser than him, and she also enrols Manohar in a rehabilitation centre. After she entered his life, his entire way of life changes. He kicks all of his bad habits and gets a job in a corporate company.
The twist occurs when the couple has a minor argument and breaks up because of the resulting complications. Anjali is the daughter of multimillionaire Madan Mohan (Anand), who arranges for her marriage to Jayanth (Vennela Kishore), the son of another wealthy man. Concurrently, Aditya is tricked by Kapoor (Ali) at work, who wants to promote his girlfriend Kavitha (Mumaith Khan). As a result, he traps Aditya and forces him to cheat on Stephen, his childhood friend (Sathya), creating tension between them.
Aditya, who is frustrated, calls his friends for a breakup party where a lot of different people show up in his life. Following his father Manohar’s escape from the rehabilitation facility with his lover, Kamala (VJ Bani), a girl who happens to be the daughter of late mafia don Devraj (Jakki), and the appearance of prostitute Padma, two gangs led by Sadhu Bhai (Ajay) and Narasimha (Raghu Babu) begin chasing Aditya. After that, crazy things start to happen: they fight with some guys, blow up a restaurant, burn a fuel bunk, etc. Further to that, Anjali runs away from marriage in order to be with Aditya, and her father Madan Mohan’s men support him. Additionally, Virisha (Mannara Chopra), another stunning girl, tries to murder Aditya by claiming she ishis ex-lover. Rest of the story how Aditya comes out of this crazy situation.
