Story:

The romantic comedy Darling was released in 2010 and was directed by A. Karunakaran. Under his production company Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra, B. V. S. N. Prasad produces it. Prabhas and Kajal Aggarwal star in the movie. G. V. Prakash Kumar is the composer of the music. It was a financial success at the box office and at the time was the second-highest grossing telugu film of all time. Additionally, it was the most successful Telugu film of 2010. Prabhas’s career was launched by the movie, which also gave him his breakout role.

The movie, which was released on April 23, 2010, was a blockbuster and earned favorable reviews from both reviewers and viewers. Later, the movie was remade in Kannada and starred Darshan and Rachita Ram as Bulbul (2013).

A group of friends throw a farewell party at the beginning of this movie, which takes place in the late 1980s. They make a commitment to stay in touch. They include Vishwanath, who has a daughter named Nandini, and Hanumanta Rao, who has a son named Prabha. Vishwanath and Nandini go to Switzerland to pursue their careers, while Hanumanta Rao settles in India to practice law. Prabha and Nandini split up as children as a result.

When these old friends get together years later, the adult Prabha is excited to see his girlfriend Nandini, but Nisha, the daughter of a local don, makes an attempt on her life when Prabha rejects her love. Her father attempts to murder Prabha and his pals, but Prabha escapes by fabricating a tale about his first love, Nandini.

Prabha meets Nandini at the reunion at Bhadram’s farmhouse. To try to impress her, he throws several tantrums, but in vain. Her brother consistently thwarts his attempts. He unwittingly leads Prabha and his crew to believe that basketball is his sister’s favorite sport, which forces them to build a court. Rishi, Appala Raju’s son, gatecrashes into the basketball game while Nandini encourages him. Prabha and Rishi engage in a cold war as they compete with one another to impress Nandini.

In the meantime, Prasanna, Bhadram’s daughter, confides in Prabha that she is in love with a man and will wed him for a dowry of 5 million, and she coerces Prabha into persuading her father to wed her to her boyfriend. With the assistance of his father and his friends, Prabha is able to persuade Bhadram about his daughter’s engagement. Nandini starts to care for Prabha after being impressed by his managerial abilities. Rishi’s buddies attempt to paralyze Prabha by cutting the electricity to an iron box because they are envious of Nandini’s preference for Prabha. Unaware of their plot, Hanumanta Rao touches the iron box by accident and receives an electric shock, which causes a fight between Prabha and Rishi. Hanumanta Rao kicks Prabha out of the house as a result of the altercation.

Later, Prabha learns that Rishi is actually Vishwanath’s nephew and not Appala Raju’s son. By choosing to wed his fiancée instead of the woman his father had selected, Vishwanath betrayed his father. He is consequently dismissed by his father. Hanumanta Rao bargains with his father for a truce on Viswanath’s behalf. After numerous tries, he finally decides to pardon Viswanath—but only if the son of his daughter marries Nandini.Prabha makes up his plan to go but decides against confessing his love to Nandini. Nandini confesses that she had been in love with him all along while Prabha tries to leave. She was trying to manipulate him only to discover how much he adores her. Nandini is devastated when he goes without telling her he loves her in order to protect his father’s image. Nisha’s father attempts to kill Prabha after realizing that the tale she told was false. Meanwhile, Nandini discovers the reason for Prabha’s silence and intentionally hurts herself out of resentment for Hanumanta Rao. She confesses to Vishwanath her love for Prabha and her desire to wed him.

He consents to her request out of sympathy. Hanumanta Rao reminds him about the condition, but Viswanath declines and adds that they are friends and should continue to support one another. Even Viswanath’s father is moved by it; as a result, he pardons his son and permits Nandini to wed Prabha.

Nandini rushes to Prabha after seeing him being assaulted by Nisha’s father outside. Prabha is able to halt his troops and save Nandini when he sends them to kill her. Later, as Nisha’s father points a gun at Prabha, Nandini begs him not to fire and expresses her love for Prabha. Nisha’s father lowers the gun and releases them after becoming emotional. Finally getting married and leading happy lives are Prabha and Nandini.
