Prabha is an Andhra Pradesh-born Indian actress and Kuchipudi dancer. She has appeared in around 125 Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada films, sharing the screen with well-known Tollywood actors like N. T. Rama Rao and Akkineni Nageswara Rao.Two Nandi Awards went to her.
When she discovered the proper guru, she decided to pursue Kuchipudi dancing full-time after first learning it as a child. Her marriage and dance debut both took place at the same time. In the USA, she performed 40 times.
She was involved in an accident where the car tipped over and boiling water from the radiator spilled into her legs as she was filming. For almost two months, she endured pain from those burns. She has spoken about this on the Telugu talk show Alitho Saradaga, which airs on ETV.
