Story:

Aghathiyaa is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language period horror thriller action comedy film, written and directed by Pa. Vijay. Blending multiple genres, the film promises a gripping narrative with elements of suspense, action, and humor.

The film features an ensemble cast, with Jiiva, Arjun Sarja, and Raashii Khanna in the lead roles. Supporting characters are played by Edward Sonnenblick, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Redin Kingsley, Radha Ravi, Azhagam Perumal, Indraja Shankar, and Matylda, adding depth to the story.

Produced by Ishari K. Ganesh under the banner of Vels Film International, Aghathiyaa is co-produced by Aneesh Arjun Dev under Wam India. Plot

Aghathiyaa follows the gripping journey of Aghathiyan, a struggling art director burdened with the responsibility of caring for his ailing mother, who is battling cancer. Desperate to find a way to fund her treatment, he unexpectedly stumbles upon an old movie camera—an artifact that mysteriously transports him back to the 1940s.

Unaware of the lurking dangers, Aghathiyan and his fiancée, Veena, find themselves entangled in a supernatural mystery. As they delve deeper into the past, they uncover long-buried secrets and hidden truths. However, their journey is anything but safe, as they awaken the wrath of the vengeful ghost of the ruthless French governor, Dy, who once ruled Pondicherry with an iron fist.

With history, horror, and intrigue colliding, Aghathiyaa promises an intense narrative filled with thrilling twists, eerie encounters, and a battle against a malevolent force determined to keep its past buried forever.
