Ishari K. Ganesh

Biography:

The founder, chairman, and chancellor of Vels University in Chennai, India is Ishari K. Ganesh. In remembrance of his late father Isari Velan, a former Legislative Assembly member in the state administration of M. G. Ramachandran, he established the Vel’s Educational Trust in 1992.

From 2011 to 2014, he served as the Pachaiyappa’s Trust Board President. From 2007 through 2009, he served as the secretary of the Consortium of Colleges connected to the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.

In addition, Ganesh is the Chairman and Founder of Vels Film International, a Tamil film production company. Ganesh played a supporting role in five films from 1992 to 2018 and appeared in S. Shankar’s 2018 film 2.0.
