Story:

A Aa is a Telugu romantic comedy family film and Trivikram Srinivas is the writer and director and released on 2 June 2016 and produced by S. Radha Krishna under the banner of Haarika & Hassine Creations. Anupama Parameswaran, Samantha, and Nithiin star in the movie. Mickey J Meyer wrote the soundtrack and music.

The movie is partially based on Yaddanapudi Sulochana Rani’s novel Meena, which was previously made into the 1973 Vijaya Nirmala film Meena, which starred Krishna. The story centers on Anasuya Ramalingam, a wealthy and strict businesswoman’s daughter who, while visiting her aunt in a village, falls in love with her cousin Aanand, a former chef.

Aanand Vihari and 23-year-old Anasuya Ramalingam, along with their families, are the focal point of the plot of A Aa. The owner of an e-foods company in Hyderabad is Aanand, a former chef. In addition to getting his sister Bhanumathi married and paying off debts (his father is deceased), he comes from a middle-class family with obligations.

Anasuya is the daughter of Mahalakshmi, a wealthy and strict woman. While Anasuya is very close to her father Ramalingam, who doesn’t speak out against Mahalakshmi much, the two have never really gotten along.

To avoid arranging a match for her, her father Ramalingam sends her to visit her extended family in Kalavapudi village, which is close to Vijayawada, while her mother is away on business. She meets her cousin Aanand on the train ride there; her father requested that they go with her back to his house.

As she joyfully experiences the delight of being at her maternal uncle’s Kalavapudi home, she and Aanand engage in a series of lighthearted buttface encounters. However, she also finds out that Aanand’s family is in debt to Nagavalli’s father, Pallam Venkanna, and that Aanand is being forced to marry Nagavalli because she loves him.

Despite his lack of interest, Aanand finds it impossible to decline Nagavalli’s father’s proposal, so he keeps putting it off by citing his sister Bhanu’s marriage as justification.

When Nagavalli visits their home one day and finds out that Anasuya is Aanand’s cousin, she instantly dislikes her. Anasuya chooses to act intimately with Aanand in front of her in an attempt to irritate her even more. An irate Nagavalli threatens to tell Mahalakshmi that Anasuya is currently in Kalavupudi and gets her father to call Anasuya’s father.

Later on, it is revealed that Mahalakshmi has a backstory explaining why she dislikes her brother’s family. After Ramalingam settles the dispute, Mahalakshmi’s secretary overhears the conversation and chooses to give her a call nonetheless.

While remaining composed, Ramalingam quickly calls Aanand and requests that he return Anasuya to the city prior to Mahalakshmi’s arrival from Chennai.

Anasuya realizes she loves Aanand back at home. But, Ramalingam purposefully called off Mahalakshmi’s planned marriage to wealthy Shekhar in Anasuya’s favor without disclosing who the other man was.

After she pushes their meeting to a golf course twice, she finally has to go. There, she injures the caddie in addition to accidentally striking the ball square in his face.

Anu encounters Aanand and Bhanu while driving Shekar to the hospital. He discloses that his mother has been admitted to the hospital as a result of Pallam Venkanna making fun of their family background and Bhanu’s lack of marriage opportunities in an effort to make it appear as though he was being kind to them by permitting Aanand to wed his daughter.

Anasuya is saddened by this news even though she is happy to see Aanand and Bhanu. She discovers that her father and Nagavalli are also at the hospital, which exacerbates the situation. She then asks Aanand if Bhanu can stay at her home since they grew close while she was living in Kalavupudi. Aanand grants permission, but only for a single day.

Bhanu is Aanand’s sister, Anasuya tells Mahalakshmi after bringing her home. Bhanu is initially denied entry by Mahalakshmi, but she eventually gives in. She discloses that she had borrowed money for business purposes from Aanand’s father, Krishnamoorthy, the brother of Mahalakshmi.

When she tried to return the loan, they had turned her down and shut the door in her face because Aanand’s father had passed away. With Bhanu, she cautions Anasuya to exercise caution. Later that evening, Bhanu remarks that Shekhar is attractive after seeing his picture. Once more, Anasuya gets an idea. The following day, she goes to a mall and strikes a deal with Bhanu.

While Bhanu was staying with her, Anasuya helped her sabotage a proposal; consequently, Anasuya claims Bhanu should return the favor. Shekar begins to fall in love with Bhanu as this plan comes to pass. Shekar’s grandfather once believes Bhanu to be Anasuya, and he even approves of their marriage.

Meanwhile, Anasuya at last tells Aanand how she really feels. However, he discloses that his father’s death was caused by Mahalakshmi’s refusal to return the money she had borrowed from him years earlier. After four years, Krishnamoorthy’s wealth and properties, which he had pledged as security for Mahalakshmi’s business, were put up for auction.

Although Mahalakshmi had promised to return the money within two years, when he asked her to do so, she declined, claiming that it wouldn’t be the end of the world for him if their ancestral land was sold at auction.

Before the auction, Krishnamoorthy took his own life because he could no longer bear the humiliation in the village and advising Aanand not to forfeit his happiness for the happiness of others in his suicide note.

Additionally, according to Aanand, Anasuya’s father abandoned them when it came time to confront her mother about what she was doing. He wonders how their families will ever approve of their union.

When Mahalakshmi finds out that Shekhar is in love with Bhanu rather than her daughter, she locks her up. When Anasuya meets Aanand, she becomes enraged and begs him to elope with her. She becomes even angrier when he declines, and she begins to wander aimlessly. The goons of Pallam Venkanna kidnap her.

She is saved by Aanand just in time for her engagement to Shekar, and they depart together with Bhanu. He confesses his love for Anasuya to Bhanu, and she begs him to tell Anasuya the truth. Returning to her engagement party, he declares his love for her and promises to do whatever it takes to make her happy.

When Aanand confronts Mahalakshmi about how she defrauded his father of the money she owed him, she refuses to give up her daughter. Ultimately, he departs with Anasuya.

Anasuya is shocked to see her parents there when she and Aanand arrive at his home. According to her father, Mahalakshmi had a panic attack as soon as Anasuya and Aanand left, but he was able to reassure her and convince her that they should be allowed to stay together. Both families ultimately make amends for their prior transgressions. Soon after, Shekar pays Bhanu another visit to request her hand in marriage.

Finally, Nagavalli appears to be accepting the fact that Aanand will not marry her, but she assures her father that if they ever split up, Aanand would come back to her.
