Heroshini Komali is an Indian actress who has made her mark in both Telugu and Tamil cinema. She initially embarked on her entertainment career as a television host, notably on the comedy show “Navvulata” produced for TV9 Telugu. Working alongside her sister, Devarshini, they became known as the “Komali sisters” in the Telugu entertainment industry. Heroshini’s talent for mimicry and impersonation of popular Telugu film personalities helped her gain recognition in the industry. Simultaneously, she pursued a degree in mass communications at St. Mary’s College, Hyderabad.
In her transition to acting, Heroshini underwent a significant transformation to prepare for her new career. She enrolled in a theatre course, followed a rigorous body transformation program at Kunal Gir’s Steel Gym, and had a photoshoot with Venky’s Photrea company. Her acting journey began with a role in “A Aa” (2016), where she portrayed the sister of the lead character.
Director Trivikram Srinivas was impressed with her hosting work during the audio launch of “Sankarabharanam” (2015), which led to her casting in the film. Subsequently, she was featured in the biopic films “NTR: Kathanayakudu” and “NTR: Mahanayakudu” in 2019, where she played the role of Kantamaneni Uma Maheswari, the daughter of actor-politician N. T. Rama Rao. Heroshini later expanded her acting career into the Tamil film industry, appearing in movies such as “Utraan” (2020) and the romantic comedy “Kaalangalil Aval Vasantham” (2022).
