This film tells a heartwarming, straightforward, and beautiful love story. Raja Ram is introduced as a successful track runner in the beginning of the film. Parvathi, his daughter, is employed at FM radio. Ram then starts telling the story of his past.
The focus of the film returns to Ram’s early years, when he wanted to become a professional track runner. Ram’s daughter Parvathi (Pavitra Lokesh) is named after his mother Parvathi, a music instructor who provides funding for Ram’s studies. She imagines him competing nationally in track and winning a gold medal.
After winning the State athletics championship and completing his education, Ram meets Nazeera (Nithya Menen), who takes an interest in him. Ram never saw her face because she wore a burqa at all times, which covered it with a niqab. Nazeera’s constant companion is Jyothi (Pavane Gangireddy). As Nazeera enters Parvathi’s music lesson, she goes by Khanum. After Ram wins the state athletics championship, a man approaches him to get his autograph and says Nazeera is the one who requested it.
Nazeera falls in love with him as he follows her. Jyothi learns from Nazeera about her affection for Ram. When Nazeera visits Ram, she discovers that he needs shoes, which he cannot buy. She takes his medals in exchange for giving him the money for that.
Ram boards a train and heads to Delhi for National Athletics. When Nazeera’s veil unexpectedly lifts to reveal her identify as Nazeera-Khanum, Ram sees her. Ram takes home the medal for his country. His mother begins preparing badam kheer for Ram with Nazeera.
Nazeera seems astonished when Parvathi refers to her as Nazeera rather than Khanum and begins talking inanely about Ram. Parvathi reveals that Nazeera’s identity is once more made public by stating that only Khanum was aware of the shoes and how Nazeera could not have given the money if they weren’t the same. Ram sees Nazeera when he gets home. She receives a call from home as they draw closer. Ram learns that Parvathi has passed away and waits for Nazeera. When he gets there, he performs every ceremony. When Nazeera tries to phone Ram, she gets blocked. She travels to Malaysia. Ram then claims that he just has a letter that he received from Nazeera and that he never actually met her.
