A young man named Anand suffers from obsessive compulsive personality disorder and is extremely picky about appearance. He is so mysophobic that he avoids touching people and has an unfounded fear of hospitals because of the infectious patients they house. One day, following an incident where a man spit chewing gum on Meghana Pirzada’s shoe, he meets Meghana. She tells him how important cleanliness is, and he falls in love. Later on, she teams up with him on a business project and finds herself falling in love with him as well. Her father, Ramaraju, has been waiting for her daughter to get married, so she makes the decision to introduce Anand to him.
Anand is initially rejected by Meghana’s father because of his eccentricities, but after he protects his pilfered bag from some thugs, he is welcomed as his son-in-law. But at that very moment, Meghana’s father passes away from a heart attack. Anand drives her father to the hospital with Meghana after he starts vomiting blood onto Anand. Aanand feels queasy as he keeps thinking about the incident while driving. He stops the car by the road and gets out in order to vomit because he can’t contain his vomiting. Then, to Meghana’s surprise, he informs her that he is unable to take her father to the hospital due to his nausea.
Anand visits Meghana’s village in the second part of the story because she chose not to tell her father about their breakup. He encounters many things in their village that make him angry and phobic, but he manages his fears and stays for Meghana. In order to save the village and win Meghana’s trust, he ultimately gets drawn into a mud fight, which he wins but loses as soon as it is over. The physician discloses that he only had an infection from mud wrestling.
Finally, he is seen encouraging his OCD-afflicted son to enjoy life rather than become obsessive, and the two of them are seen playing in the rain.
