Story:

Macherla Niyojakavargam, a 2022 Telugu political action film, marked the directorial debut of seasoned editor M.S. Rajashekhar Reddy. Starring Nithin, Krithi Shetty, and Catherine Tresa in lead roles, the film tackled political corruption and vigilante justice. Samuthirakani, Rajendra Prasad, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, and Subhalekha Sudhakar rounded out the supporting cast.

Despite high expectations due to Nithin’s family production under Sreshth Movies, the film met with a lukewarm reception.

Mahati Swara Sagar’s music and Prasad Murella’s cinematography couldn’t salvage the story’s shortcomings, while Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao’s editing failed to tighten the narrative. Released on August 12, 2022, Macherla Niyojakavargam fell short of critical and commercial expectations.

Siddharth Reddy, a newly posted district collector, arrives in the volatile Palnadu, tasked with overseeing a peaceful election. He soon confronts the ruthless machinations of Rajappa, a corrupt politician who wields undue influence through fear and intimidation.

Siddharth’s resolve strengthens when he discovers his love interest, Swathi, carries a heavy burden. Her brother, a previous DC, perished in a conflict with Rajappa, fueling her silent quest for justice.

Unfazed by the looming threat, Siddharth vows to conduct the election with unwavering integrity. He encourages Raghavaiah, Swathi’s grandfather, to step into the political arena, offering a beacon of hope for the terrorized populace. What follows is a thrilling showdown a taut game of wits and courage between Siddharth and Rajappa.

Through unwavering commitment and strategic maneuvers, Siddharth dismantles Rajappa’s web of influence. As the ballots are cast, a wave of liberation washes over the district. Raghavaiah triumphs, and the people rise against their oppressor. The once-feared Rajappa, isolated and defeated, finds no escape but a tragic end.
