Biography:

On January 22, 1958, Posani krishna Murali was born in Pedakakani, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. His mother was a stay-at-home mom, and his father Posani Subba Rao was a part-time worker in Pedakakani. He has two sisters: Prameela, who is younger, and Rajyalakshmi, who is older. Posani Amar Bhosale is his younger brother as well. He is Boyapati Srinu’s relative. Posani’s family had financial hardship as he was growing up, and because his father was uneducated, he wanted Posani to do well in school so that he might have a better life. Posani completed his education in a tiny village in the Guntur district before pursuing a BComm.

He joined the writing team of the Paruchuri Brothers as an assistant writer. Ram Gopal Varma invited him to compose dialogue for one of his films when he was still working for them and earning his MPhil in Madras. Posani denied the opportunity and informed Ram Gopal Varma that he still needed to learn a lot from the Paruchuri Brothers and that he wasn’t yet ready to direct a movie on his own.

He wrote for eight films in 1999, which was the most of any Telugu writer that year. He wrote nine films in the year 2000. He started his acting career in 2001 while still working as a writer for Srihari’s Evadra Rowdy, for which he also wrote the story and script. In 2002, the movie Gemini, in which Venkatesh starred, was released.Posani appeared in Mahesh Babu’s Bobby, which was directed by Sobhan, in the same year. Even though the movie bombed at the box office, Posani’s performance was appreciated. He proceeded to make appearances in movies like Bhadradi Ramudu and Good Boy.He continued to pen screenplays for movies like Orey Thammudu, Raghavendra, Simhachalam, and Bhadradi.

The critics also commended Posani’s direction. Apadamokkulavadu, Mental Krishna, Rajavari Chepala Cheruvu, Posani Gentleman, and Dushasana are just a few of the movies he continues to make as a director. He also started playing the lead in movies like Posani Gentleman, Rajavari Chepala Cheruvu, and Mental Krishna. In addition, he has been appearing in supporting roles in notable Telugu movies; his most recent was MLA from 2018.
